Welcome to Greater Valley Credit Union!
Greater Valley Credit Union, formerly California State Employees Credit Union No. 4, is a full service financial institution that has been serving our members since 1936. Since that time, we have become one of the most financially sound financial institutions in the Central Valley.
Greater Valley Credit Union is a non-profit organization, owned and operated by our members who want control over their financial destiny. Volunteers, people like yourself, are elected to the Board of Directors. They are responsible for setting the direction and policies of the credit union. Any money that the credit union makes goes back to our members in the form of higher savings account dividends and lower loan rates.
Who Can Join
You are eligible for Membership at Greater Valley Credit Union if you:
Live or work in Fresno County or Madera Ranchos
Are a District 6 state employee or retiree
Are a Family member of a current GVCU member
How To Join
It's simple to join GVCU! Just deposit the minimum opening deposit and pay a nominal membership fee.
Pay one-time, non-refundable membership fee of $.50
Deposit minimum opening deposit of $5.00 into a Regular Shares savings account
Maintain minimum daily balance of $5.00
