MasterCard Debit Card

For use with your GVCU checking account, the MasterCard debit card allows you to access your account to make purchases and withdraw cash. The transactions are deducted from your checking account.

MasterCard SecureCode
Protect your card against unauthorized use when shopping online with MasterCard SecureCode. (available at participating retailers) When you make a purchase in a store, you enter a PIN number or sign a receipt to validate the transaction. MasterCard SecureCode mimics this process over the internet by providing a digital receipt that you signed off with your own personal SecureCode.

To set up your SecureCode now, click on the MasterCard SecureCode logo or visit the MasterCard site now.

Report Lost or Stolen Cards
To report a lost or stolen MasterCard debit cards call: (800) 523-4175, available 24 hours a day, seven (7) days a week.

Overdraft Protection

Ensure your checks and electronic debit items are paid with overdraft protection. With overdraft protection, when there are insufficient funds in your checking account to cover an item, funds will automatically transfer from your other GVCU account(s) or loan to cover the item.

  • Transfer increment $200.00

  • $2.00 per transfer

  • Can be set up from Regular Shares, Money Market, or Visa credit card account

  • Transfers only made when funds are insufficient to cover an item

Whether you are at home, in the office, or on vacation, managing your account has never been easier! Access your GVCU accounts 24 hours a day, seven (7) days a week, from any internet-enabled device.

Mobile Banking

Our new mobile app allows you to access your accounts anywhere, anytime, and is free, fast, and secure. Visit the Apple App or Google Play Store to download our mobile app (click on the Apple App or Google Play store links on the bottom of the page to go directly to the mobile app download). Sign in with the same Online Banking User ID and Password. Apply for account access today by calling us at (559) 233-0867 or requesting access from the Enroll Now link on the home page.

Telephone Banking

Enjoy the convenience of 24-hour access to your GVCU accounts with our automated telephone banking system: Phone Access Teller (PAT). Whether you are at home, at the office, or on the road, all you need is a touch-tone phone and a personal identification number (PIN) to perform a wide variety of financial transactions.

MoneyDesktop is an online money management tool, integrated into online banking, that empowers you to take control of your finances and simplify your life. Budgeting, account aggregation, categorization and mobile access are just a few of the tools to guide you along your way.


Direct Deposit and Payroll Deduction

Electronically deposit your entire paycheck, retirement check, etc. or just a portion of the check to the credit union with the use of direct deposit and payroll deduction services.

Direct Deposit

Deposit your entire paycheck, retirement check, or any recurring deposits electronically to the credit union. To set up direct deposit contact your employer or the issuing agency or vendor, to determine if direct deposit is available. To start direct deposit, provide the credit union's routing number and your account number. For more information or if you need assistance in setting up your direct deposit, contact the credit union today.

Payroll Deduction

For a convenient way to deposit or make loan payments to your GVCU account(s) or loan(s) we can set up automatic deductions from your check to be electronically sent to the credit union.

Payroll deduction is available for the following groups:

  • Employees of the State of California

  • Members of California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS)

Deductions are submitted monthly and may take up to thirty (30) days to take effect. To add, change, or stop a deduction just call us at (559) 233-0867.
